Fleet Management Study

Another aspect of the Mount Rainier National Park's goal to become carbon neutral in its operations is a more effective and efficient use of its fleet of vehicles and motorized equipment. Through a $15,000 grant from The Boeing Company Charitable Trust, the park developed recommendations to reduce emissions and operating costs associated with its 260 pieces of motorized equipment, including vehicles and heavy equipment. Results of this study will directly reduce greenhouse gas emissions within park boundaries.
