Thanks to our donors, more than $2 million has been awarded to the parks over the past six years through Washington's National Park Fund. These gifts have funded more than 100 worthy projects that are of utmost importance. Together, we're improving Mount Rainier, North Cascades and Olympic National Parks for future generations to enjoy.
Here's a comprehensive list of funded projects over the past six years.
The projects fit into four major categories: Science & Research, Volunteerism & Stewardship, Visitors' Experiences, and Youth and Families. Whether the project involves youth, funds search and rescue training, improves trails and campsites, assists with researching wild critters, or preserves natural places, Washington's National Park Fund's relationship with Mount Rainier, North Cascades and Olympic National Parks remains a vital link to the future of these parks.
Thank you to all of our generous donors!
